VOLUNTEER WITH US

Rehab volunteers are the heart of our daily operations, helping with cleaning, feeding, and essential care for our animals. Their dedication keeps our facility running smoothly every day! We require rehab volunteers to commit to 1 two-hour shift per week for a long term period (minimum of 6 months).

An internship at Cottontail Cottage offers hands-on experience, mentorship, and research opportunities for undergraduate, and graduate students. Whether you're pursuing veterinary medicine or another related field, you'll gain valuable skills and real-world experience while working alongside our dedicated team of compassionate, licensed rehabbers.

Cottontail Cottage needs dedicated volunteers for our transport and rescue team! Help rescue wildlife by safely bringing patients to our Rye Brook center, picking up donations, or assisting with vet trips. Join us in making a difference!

This flexible, hands-on role is perfect for those who want to help but can’t commit to a set schedule. Volunteers assist with enrichment activities and general facility upkeep, including painting, minor repairs, and maintenance to keep our rehab running smoothly. No experience needed just a passion for wildlife!

We’re looking for creative volunteers to help with posters, infographics,  and digital designs for educational materials, merchandise, and more! Your artwork will support our mission by raising awareness and helping fund wildlife rehabilitation. This is a flexible, remote-friendly opportunity, perfect for artists and graphic designers who want to use their skills to make a difference for wildlife!

Help us spread the word about wildlife rescue! We're looking for friendly, outgoing volunteers to assist with setting up and staffing our booth at fairs, events, and farmers markets.
